Senior Companions is a federally funded volunteer opportunity through Americorps that works with InterFaith Works. These volunteers receive a small stipend and will go into the homes of other aging adults who are 55 years of age or older to assist them with light chores, bills, grocery shopping, games and conversation, etc. The aim of this program is to bring socialization to a group of people that often times can feel neglected from the rest of society.
