Anything Helps is seeking an experienced volunteer to help us create marketing materials aimed at recruiting for a critical role in addressing homelessness.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape outreach materials that will directly support our mission of providing stability for some of the most vulnerable populations in Washington State.
Our contractors work as Case Managers, helping clients navigate housing and employment challenges. These roles are designed to provide supplemental income to people already working in the homelessness sector. We also leverage technology to maximize convenience and flexibility, ensuring that contractors can balance this role with their existing commitments. With a shared caseload system and the ability to choose how, when, and how often they provide services, contractors avoid burnout while earning a competitive salary in a historically underpaying sector.
Your Role:
- Collaborate with our team to develop compelling marketing content, such as brochures, digital ads, and social media posts.
- Conceptualize and create visually appealing, sector-friendly designs for a variety of communications collateral, including email, postal mail, social media, online ads, and websites.
- Highlight the benefits of becoming a contractor with Anything Helps, such as earning a competitive salary, maintaining work-life balance, and leveraging technology to make service delivery more convenient.
- Help us create clear and engaging materials that attract individuals who are passionate about homelessness services but may be looking for additional, flexible work.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Canva is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media marketing.
- Background in graphic design and marketing.
- Experience with website design is a plus.
- Professional and/or lived experience with homelessness is a plus.
Why Volunteer with Us?
This role is crucial to ensuring we recruit dedicated individuals who will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. By helping us develop strong marketing materials, you'll play an essential part in growing our team and extending our reach in the community.

Mission Statement
Through technology, innovation and frontline work, Anything Helps wants to end homelessness in King County. Lead by people with lived experience of homelessness, we center the people we serve in everything we do. We won't quit until everyone is provided with a clear path to a safe, dignified and permanent home.
Description
All members of our outreach team are people with lived experience, and trained to find commonalities with the people they encounter. By doing this, the people we serve invite us into their lives. We walk alongside them, between service gaps and across silos, which allows us to establish trust and identify service gaps in the system. By simply asking what our clients need, not assuming or telling them what we think they need, their voice is naturally centered in everything we do. These experiences synthesize and the results drive our work.
Some of the services we've provided in the last year:
Supportive Outreach, Intensive Case Management, Housing Navigation, Frontline Service Provider Training, Crisis De-Escalation Training, Housing Retention, Landlord Liaison Program, Benefits Enrollment, Identification Procurement, Information and Referrals, Peer Support, By-Name List Generation.
As a non-profit organization in it's early years, it is a challenge for Anything Helps to jumpstart infrastructure necessary to operate. This includes liability insurance, equipment, email, our website, and staffing costs. We need to generate a reliable source of funding that allows us to pay our staff and our minimal expenses. This would allows us to provide consistent and quality care to our clients. We also need assistance with the development of organizational policies and procedures, some board mentorship, and a source of flexible funds to allow us to be expedient and adaptable to the needs of our clients.
