Hospice Memory Bear Volunteers engage their sowing skills to make teddy bears from the clothes of our hospice patients so that their loved ones can have a lasting, huggable, token of their love and fond memories. These memory bears are more than keepsakes for surviving loved ones, they bring peace and comfort in times of grief and loneliness. Templates, sowing materials, and the clothes to be used are delivered to the volunteer, and the volunteer is free to schedule their own time to complete each project.
