Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center/Irvine Chinese School join in presenting this FREE, family-friendly festival to commemorate the end of the Lunar New Year with music, dance, art making, riddles and food. The Lantern Festival provides children and their families the opportunity to participate in activities ranging from lantern-making, listening to live music, taking Chinese folk dance lessons, and more at this celebration.
What are the volunteer opportunities?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in many roles such as Activity Booth Attendants (lantern-making, crafts, playing musical instruments, etc.), Performing Group Liaisons (helping the performers on-off the stage, Translators and Greeters.
When and where is the Lantern Festival?
This year's Lantern Festival takes place on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Rene and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. The time commitment for volunteers is 9:30am - 4:30pm.

All volunteers are welcome, and no musical experience is required to volunteer for this opportunity. However, we do seek some volunteers who can speak and/or read Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Korean.
