Want to make a difference in the Alabama foster care community? Foster Coalition is actively seeking new members for our Board of Directors who are passionate about our mission and want to contribute to our organization’s success. The board is responsible for overseeing the mission and strategic direction of the organization.
Foster Coalition supports foster children and their caretakers through community building, church ministry programs, and providing resources and education. Foster Coalition works together with foster agencies, local organizations, and church ministries to improve the lives of foster children and provide them with a better chance for a successful future.
Description
Foster Coalition brings foster organizations and families together. We connect local agencies, organizations and volunteers with resources, training, education, and network conferences. We assist church leadership with ministry teams to recruit foster parents, mentors and volunteers. We work with local and state hubs to ensure that consistent training and education are available.
