School Bus Drivers (with CDL) - $37.50/hour - IMMEDIATE HIRE

BGCM Community Center & Sportsplex is seeking van and school bus drivers to transport students to and from school, camp, and sporting and off-campus school events. This is a great opportunity for retirees, seniors, veterans, and parents with children. Positions begin late August/early September.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract (Full time may be available)

Pay: $37.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from their destinations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking the bus.
• Greet parents and guardians in a friendly manner.
• Team members work 4 hours minimum per day guaranteed - mostly morning/afternoon shifts.
• Additional hours are available as needed during the school day, after school hours, and weekends for transportation to and from extra-curricular activities.
• Must be able to alter routes and/or daily routines based on the transportation needs of the day.

Qualifications:

• Current CDL (class C or higher) with both a passenger and school bus endorsement. Training for S & P endorsements may be available.
• Current medical certification.
• Excellent driving record (no accidents).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Preferred but not required: 1 year of bus driving experience, preferably in a school bus setting.
