It's time again for IN PERSON VISITS, and
Our patients need you!
Are you ready to get out into your community?
Join us and visit patients on hospice services in their homes and/or at local healthcare facilities!
Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva to provide friendly visits to people living at local healthcare facilities* who are in need of a friendly face to help improve their quality of life.
Volunteers can:
- Play music for patients
- Make art, legacy projects, crafts, etc. for patients and their loved ones
- Watch a favorite TV show
- Listen and talk
- Provide supportive presence
- Join our We Honor Veterans program to support veterans on hospice services
- And so much more!
Volunteers will not be expected to provide clinical care such as feeding, transferring, bathing, toileting, etc.
