We are looking for compassionate Volunteers, age 16 and over, to provide companionship to our Hospice Patients. Volunteers are matched with patients and then make visits at their convenience (at least once per month, but as often as you wish).

Volunteers spend time talking with patients, reading to patients, playing music for patients or engaging in games, crafts, watching TV or movies together or other engaging in other activities based on interest and ability. Some volunteers also enjoy bringing treats to their patients.

Most of our patients are in nursing homes in St. Charles, St. Peters, Maryland Heights, Town & Country and other parts of the Greater St. Louis area. We also have several home patients.

Volunteers receive complete training and we make the first visit or two together to make sure the volunteer feels comfortable in his or her new role.
