  1. We have developed a virtual rheumatology training program in Rwanda but am looking how to expand this. Currently, we use Zoom and teach synchronously. We are looking to make this more interactive. We have teachers, but need a platform for teaching.
  2. Need expertise in social media to share information about rheumatology to medical students, medical resident, practicing physicians and patients in resource limited areas such as Africa.
  3. We are exploring use of mobile phones to interact with rural physicians and community health care workers in reference to rheumatology.

Mission Statement

Mission and Goals RHEUMATOLOGY FOR ALL" is a non-profit organization formed in 2016 by an international group of rheumatologists to increase access to rheumatology care in resource limited areas. Our first project was to sponsor two local Ethiopian physicians for a fellowship in rheumatology in South Africa. They have returned to Ethiopia and are seeing patients and teaching rheumatology to the local medical community. We would like to continue to sponsor local physicians for specialty training in Ethiopia as well as other resource limited areas. We have also developed virtual educational programs for physicians in training in Rwanda and Ethiopia, which we are planning to expand.

Description

Our organization is a group of international rheumatologists including members from Africa, the United States and Canada. We are all academic rheumatologists.
