We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Montessori teacher or assistant to join our team. This is a volunteer position and the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Montessori method and a passion for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing Montessori curriculum and activities for 1 and 3 year old students
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Observe and assist in student progress and development
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program

Qualifications:

• Montessori certification for early childhood education is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Montessori classroom is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of child development and the Montessori method
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Passion for working with young children
