ORGANIZATION: NATIONAL LEIOMYOSARCOMA FOUNDATION

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to manage our social media accounts and creating engaging and informative posts to help raise awareness of Leiomyosarcoma and the work of our foundation.

As Social Media Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a social media posting strategy that aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation
  • Creating and scheduling regular social media posts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to engage our followers and promote our work
  • Monitoring and responding to comments and messages on our social media accounts
  • Collaborating with other team members to create content and plan campaigns
  • Tracking the success of our social media efforts and providing regular reports to the team
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and be up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices. You should also be able to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

The National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation is an important organization that strives to gather a critical mass of patients, scientists, patient advocates and physicians to learn more about this rare disease. Within the NLMSF, the LMS Research Roundtable organizes cutting edge research in this area and strives to innovate the ways that this disease is treated.
