Some people LOVE Valentine's Day and some hate it. We want to make it enjoyable for all of our clients in our Homeless Shelters this year!

Join other Volunteers on February 4th from noon to 3pm for a Special Event! We will be making Valentine's Day bags for each and every one of our clients (about 70 of them). These decorated bags will hold all of the Valentine's Day cards and treats that they will be receiving this year,

We will also be making handmade Valentine's to put a smile on their faces as well.

Please join us for this feel good event.

This is a great opportunity for families (children of all ages, with adults present) and other groups, or individuals.

Project PLASE will be accepting donations of art supplies and colored construction paper for this event.
Please reach out to Rachel to sign up or if you have any questions. Her email is rcatalano@projectplase.org and phone number is (410)837-1400 x128.

About Project PLASE

3601 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229, US

Mission Statement

Project PLASE addresses homelessness in Baltimore through our transitional and permanent housing programs coupled with a continuum of housing and services to meet the special physical, mental, and emotional needs of residents. We strive to move individuals from crisis to housing stability by treating, restoring, and rehabilitating the whole person and empowering each individual to function at his or her highest level possible.

The goal of Project PLASE’s transitional housing program is to house and serve homeless citizens in 24-hour supported supervision and case management with a focus on helping the individual function at the highest level.

We provide residents with three meals daily plus snacks, linens, bus tokens, assistance with medical appointments, and clothing as needed - making it easier for residents to focus on getting back on their feet.

Each resident is assigned a counselor for assistance and support. Active case management is given to assist the individual to meet his/her needs, move beyond their crisis situation, and avail him/herself of community based services and resources as appropriate.
