The Tops Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade will be brightening up downtown on 3/11/23!
We are looking for fun-spirited volunteers that are willing to help in one of these areas:
(we have a separate VolunteerMatch opportunity for outdoor functions)
Volunteer Check In - We need help setting up the meeting room for the banner carrier volunteers BEFORE the parade. Duties include setting up the coffee and donut supplies on tables, checking-in volunteers when they arrive, and cleaning up the meeting room. You can volunteer and then go watch the parade which starts marching at 12:30pm
Time commitment: 10:30am-12:15pm.
Celtic Family Faire - To be held inside the Hilton Garden Inn on Main St, we are holding the Faire as an alcohol-free event for families to enjoy the spirit of parade day. We need volunteers to help setup, run activities (including possibly face painting), and tear down at the end. Proceeds from the event will go to Daystar Kids. You will get to see dance schools and bands perform for free.
Time commitment: 10:30am-4:00pm. This may be split into two shifts
The parade is organized by the Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade committee. We are a non-profit 5013c, and any time spend volunteering with us COUNTS TOWARDS COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!
