VNA of the Treasure Coast works to meet the unique needs of Veterans at end of life through our We Honor Veterans program. Volunteers help us do just that.

Veteran-to-Veteran or V2V volunteers provide support and companionship to patients who have been identified as veterans. V2V volunteers do this through patient visits, honor ceremonies and participation in special Veteran events. Patients enjoy socializing, reminiscing, playing cards and more with their V2V volunteer.

V2V volunteers spend 2-3 hours per week on once to twice weekly visits to patients. Volunteers may be asked to participate in ceremonies, run errands, or other participate in events throughout the year.

If you are a Veteran in Brevard County who would enjoy bringing comfort and companionship to a fellow Veteran at end of life, please visit our website to complete an application at www.vnatc.com/volunteers
