The Los Angeles Parks Foundation was founded in 2008 to enhance, expand, and preserve public parks, recreation, and open space for the diverse people of Los Angeles.

Such that, we are privileged to be the operating partner of Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K with the Los Angeles Parks Foundation (since 2018).

As a volunteer, you will be helping us put on this great event by helping us support the runners on this amazing run. There are many areas where you as a volunteer will be supporting us. You can support us at registration, packet pick-up, along the course (ex. directing runners, water stations), as well as, supporting at the finish line (ex. timing).

  • Sun Mar 03, 2024 - 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM
    event support (finish line, course/event breakdown, clean-up)
  • Sun Mar 03, 2024 - 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    Clean-up, break down & finish line support
  • Sun Mar 03, 2024 - 05:15 AM to 10:00 AM
    Set-up, registration & course support (ex. directing runners, water stations, finish line)

Aztlan Athletics LLC, has managed, developed and operated unique grassroots, community-based fundraising events since 1974 and help those organizations become self-sufficient. We endorse agencies whose goals are to improve health and wellness and college bound opportunities in our communities.

Through our events we help raise funds for the organizations and their great cause. We help promote health and wellness to the communities. As well as helping those students who are pursuing higher education.
