Riverside Community Hospice and Family Care located in Placentia is looking for office volunteers! You must be 18 years old to see patients but, 16 and 17 year olds can volunteer in our office.
Volunteers provide assistance for mailing letters, newsletters, and greeting cards; No experience required. Basic computer skills helpful. We have many opportunities to fit high school students' schedules. Most high school volunteers come in on Saturdays for a couple of hours. Training and orientation will be arranged to fit to your schedule.

Riverside Community Hospice & Family Care is an ancillary service under HCA Healthcare and is certified by Medicare. Part of the Medicare Conditions of Participation is to offer and provide volunteer services to the terminally ill patients and families that we serve. Volunteer services can be direct (interacting directly with the patient and families) and indirect (working in the office, administrative duties).
Brookdale Hospice provides a comprehensive orientation and training program prior to your volunteer experience. Applicants must complete a background check, drug screen, and TB screening (at the cost of Brookdale Hospice). A full application and reference check will be completed as well.
