Administrative Assistant;
This position is a great opportunity for someone with clerical skills and want to provide a service to a small but growing nonprofit.
We are flexible. The workload is pretty light in spring in summer, starting August we prepare for our coat giveaways. This year we are celebrating 5 years and will host several coat popups. This will require the Admin Assistant to communicate with vendors or other nonprofits to partner with us. The Admin will also have to keep forms, handouts, surveys updated in order to provide them for the coat giveaways. Most of the work is done during the summer months in preparation for Oct-Dec coat giveaway. During Oct-Dec the Admin may be asked to deliver coats or assist at coat giveaway.
This position runs from March to December each year
You will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement
Because our organization provide a service to children, you will have to submit to a background check. (payment is made by the organization)

Mission Statement
We believe that all children should live a normal a life as possible, families should be productive in their communities, and the homeless communities should be provided warmth through our coat program. Our closet provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school for free in disadvantaged and challenging communities in Missouri and St. Clair County, IL. Coats will not only keep them warm, but more importantly, instill in them that they are just as important as anyone else regardless of their situation or environment.
Description
All Nanna's Kids Closet, founded in 2018 is a 501c3 organization that provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school. We are committed to serving families with children, schools, daycares, shelters and any child who need a coat. We deliver coats and host coat giveaways from Oct - March each year. Since 2018 we have given away over 6000 coats, hats and gloves to children; which is approximately 600 families served. We are compassionate in our giving and connected to the communities that we impact. We do not discriminate, a need is a need. No child should know how it feels to go without a coat during the winter months. Volunteers are always welcome to help at our coat giveaways.
