Orphans, Youth, Aged and Women Initiative known as OYAWI is a registered NGO in Kenya. OYAWI is seeking to recruit experienced, dedicated and knowledgeable community health workers to sensitize adolescent on sexual reproductive health and child protection.
Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Sensitize the adolescent on matters of sexual reproductive health
  2. sensitize parents on parent-child communication on Adolescent Reproductive Health.
  3. Train identified women and youth on how to make reusable sanitary towels.
  4. Sensitize the parents on child protection.
  5. Training peers on ASRH.

Description

Orphans, Youth, Aged and Women Initiative (OYAWI) was established in 2019 and registered in 2020 by NGO-Coordination Board of Kenya. Current members of Board of Directors include professionals in different fields of expertise. OYAWI operates in the counties of Nairobi, Kajiado, Siaya, Homa Bay and Kakamega. The main aim of its establishment is to empower the vulnerable members of the society to decide and participate in development activities in our areas of jurisdiction

The objective of our organization is to empower and boost all needy orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), youth, elderly and women across communities to learn and understand their rights hence undertake income generating activities for self-sufficiency and sustainability.


Our Objectives

To promote economic empowerment among vulnerable community members.
To promote food security initiatives through agripreneurships.
To support education through enrollment and retention of learners into learning institutions.
