Farm Teacher tasting greens with kids
A farm teacher harvesting greens from our hoop house to taste with students.

Help young people learn about where their food comes from through hands-on experiential learning on a working farm. Teach children about farm animals including grinding corn to feed chickens, planting seeds, composting and about the important role bees play in food production.

We host school groups every weekday. Most programs last about two hours and begin between 9am and 10am. The majority of groups are preschoolers through fourth graders.

We will train you to lead small groups to various learning stations around the farm. Our education volunteer trainings are going to be on Thursday, March 5th and Friday, March 6th from 10am-12pm. You are welcome to attend one or both!

We are always looking for new education volunteers to join the team no matter the time of year!

It's a great time to come get involved! Work as little or as often as your schedule allows. Please contact us for more information. Join the fun and help us to educate the next generation with hands-on learning!
