Mission Statement

Human Body Shop mission is to promote the creation and sustenance of health offices and clinics that serve uninsured and underinsured individuals with respect and dignity. We also seek to provide workforce development opportunities for pre-health professional students and training opportunities in the healing arts for clinicians and interested individuals.

Description

At Simply Salud, we know that students crave responsibility and want to be leaders. You are the future clinicians, nurses and health care techs. And we treat you as such. Our program brings medicine back to its educational roots, with our unique and comprehensive apprenticeship program. You are challenged to think about patients holistically, to learn about disease and therapy, and to see the strengths and weaknesses of each modality of medicine. Fundamentally, we want you to learn how you can help patients heal. Skills learned - Vital signs, Phlebotomy, Computer Skills, Medical terminology, Communication Skills, Pharmaceutical Knowledge, Shadow Medical Procedures.
