Volunteers with time on their hands with a flexible schedule are needed to provide support and companionship to the elderly in our community with life -limiting illnesses. Your compassion will bring joy and happiness to patients entering their last stages of life. You will receive an orientation and training and will be supported by the hospice staff. What can you do as a hospice volunteer. There are lots of opportunities in nursing homes or personal care homes or office or even in the private homes of our patients. We also have nonclinical opportunities as well. We need office volunteers as well.
