After the initial call is taken, the connections team steps in to reach out to professionals or others in the family's life. This includes speaking with social workers, caseworkers, teachers, daycare providers and more to build a better understanding of who the parents and children are and how to best serve them. This team will also connect and build rapport with the parent. This team ensures that we have all the information necessary to be the best resource possible to our families requesting support. If you are a compassionate and empathetic listener, able to ask questions and type up detailed notes and feedback, then you would be a great fit!

Safe Families for Children surrounds families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. We are a volunteer-driven movement that relies upon host families, a network of support, to open their arms, their hearts, and their homes to host vulnerable children.
