Esperanza's Board of Directors comprises leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sectors dedicated to the organization's mission. Serving on Esperanza's Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual passionate about strengthening leadership and governance in the nonprofit sector and passionate about our mission.
Esperanza is embarking on a period of growth and opportunity. As we strive to nurture those we serve, we seek those willing to share their gifts and expertise to assist us in these endeavors.

Esperanza Community Services serves more than 250 children and adults in Chicago with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chicago's West Town neighborhood with programs and services that give them opportunities to live a fulfilled and meaningful life.

Esperanza Community Services provides opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help to help them reach their fullest potential toward a productive and independent life in the community. Esperanza means hope, expectation, promise, prospect, and confidence.
Description
Located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, Esperanza Community Services serves hundreds of children and adults with Autism and other disabilities, along with their families by providing lifechanging support to help them achieve their fullest potential and become as independent as possible. Our services include adult residential, adult day training, home-based support, art exploration, Esperanza Therapeutic Day School, and Esperanza Learning Center.
For 50 years we have helped people build academic and life skills that lead to independence, happiness, and a higher quality of life. For every person we support to achieve a goal, a family becomes stronger and our entire community is enriched.
