Cat and Kitten Fosters Needed!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Stray Cat Alliance

Do you love helping cats and kittens that need a home?

Our facility is at capacity and we're urgently looking for fosters. Are you able to open your home to help us? We are also accepting short term fosters. We need fosters for kittens, adult cats, and cats with medical needs.

We have many kittens who need an immediate foster as they are too little and young to stay at our facility. We will provide basic supplies and training if needed.

We also have many adults and seniors. They often get overlooked, but they can be much easier. They already have their set personality so you know what you’re getting. They are generally more relaxed and calm. They also know how to use a litter box.

Additionally, we always have cats and kittens in need of higher level medical care, e.g. oral medications, subcutaneous fluids, or injections. We frequently have blind cats, paralyzed cats, and cats with FIP who need extra love and attention. We can teach you exactly what to do to give the cats the proper care they need to recover. All medication will be provided.

You can also look through our Trello board to see the cats who are in need of foster by going to and following the link. If you're able to open your home, please fill out a foster application or email . If you're unable to foster, would you kindly share our foster flyer with your friends, family and social media?

We look forward to hearing from you!

About Stray Cat Alliance

PO BOX 661277, Los Angeles, CA 90066, US

Mission Statement

Stray Cat Alliance educates and empowers communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued.

Every day, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support.

Our goals are to:

  • Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
  • Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
  • Help shelters transform themselves from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
  • Educate the community about the plight of freeā€roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
  • Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.

We'll work with your schedule.
