The Communications & Marketing Committee works directly with the Communications Chair. Members of this committee can use their creativity and share their ideas with the Communications Chair who will partner with the Executive and Assistant Director for approval. The Communications and marketing committee is responsible for assisting HSBC with marketing and advertising.

All our volunteers must support the Mission and Vision of HSBC. This includes doing our part to help pets live their best lives. As a member of the communications committee, you will be able to utilize your creativity to support HSBC.

Our volunteers are extremely important to the success of The Humane Society of Bay County. Every volunteer opportunity contributes to the health and safety of the pets in our care and plays a vital role in helping these animals find their forever homes. We are excited that you are considering volunteering with us, and we want to work with you to find the volunteer opportunity that works best for you!

All volunteers are expected to keep their commitments, support a positive environment, and do their part to ensure the pets in our care live in a clean environment and are provided fresh food, water and love every day.

Communication’s & Marketing Committee

• Newsletter & Mailings
• Write articles that support HSBC & the organizations Mission
• Review material and provide input for improvement
• Assist with printing and mailing anything needed by HSBC
• Social Media
• With partnership of the communications chair, update and maintain Facebook, Instagram & Tiktoc
• Update / maintain volunteer and event calendar
• Run errands, such as dropping off and picking up printed materials, as delegated by the Communications Chair
• Work with other Chair members as necessary to make sure that events and calendars are updated correctly and consistently
• Attend and participate in meetings and chats to share innovative ideas and provide input
• Play an active role in supporting the mission of HSBC by working directly with the Communication’s Chair
