Ambassadors for Change (AFC)
Are you passionate about education, creating community, and social justice? The Holocaust Center for Humanity is seeking new members for our 2023 Ambassadors for Change cohort!
The Holocaust Center for Humanity is a museum, library, and educational resource center that centers the narratives of local genocide survivors and rescuers. Our mission is to teach the lessons of the Holocaust, inspiring students of all ages to confront bigotry and indifference, promote human dignity, and take action.
Ambassadors for Change (AFC) is a year-long volunteer board for young adults (ages 21-40) living in the greater Seattle area, organized to build community, inspire change, and learn together. AFC is open to individuals of *any & all* faiths, identities, abilities, and backgrounds.
Applications for the 2023 cohort will be open until January 20th, and the first official meeting will take place on February 2nd.

Description
Established in 1989, the Center supports teachers in the public and private schools of Washington State and in the Pacific Northwest, making it possible to introduce Holocaust studies into their curricula. In 2015, the organization opened a museum that allows students, teachers, and the general public to explore exhibits on the Holocaust. The Holocaust Center for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
