Join Urban Surf 4 Kids and Everyday California on a group ocean kayaking adventure! EDCA Guides will take US4K foster youth and volunteers on a tour of La Jolla Ecological Reserve, a Marine Protected Area that’s home to a thriving underwater ecosystem. Kayakers will also have the opportunity to view La Jolla’s Seven Sea Caves up close!
The experience in whole will take about 2.5 hours. Wetsuits and lockers are provided. EDCA Lifejackets / helmets are required to be worn by kayakers at all times.

Description
Urban Surf 4 Kids provides foster and at-risk youth with surf therapy, mentoring and a life skills achievement program. We encourage children who have suffered from abuse, neglect, abandonment and homelessness to heal through the transformative power of the ocean and through the development of healthy relationships.
