About:
This year marks the 26th annual Outdoors for All Spreefest set for Saturday, March 11th, 2023 at The Summit at Snoqualmie (West). Spreefest is our largest winter fundraiser benefiting our mission of enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. The event is a 3 month peer to peer fundraising campaign that ends with a fundraising wrap party on mountain March 11th.

When: March 11th, 2023
Volunteer roles and times:
Event Setup (6:30 AM - 9:30 AM)
Help with event set up. Must be okay with lifting heavy materials, such as tents, boxes, etc.
Registration (2 shifts: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM OR 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Help with running registration, which includes collecting forms, donations, distributing t-shirts, etc.
Super Runner (2 shifts: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM OR 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Help transport gear and supplies for demo reps and staff. Shift 2 will also help with event breakdown/clean up.
Raffle Ticket Sales (2 shifts: 9 AM - 12:00 PM OR 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Help sell raffle tickets to attendees in the pavilion.
Race Course Set-Up and Timer (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Assist with the initial construction of rails, fencing, start/finish line, and timing on-snow. Volunteers must be physically capable of loading equipment and an intermediate level skier/rider. You must also bring your own equipment.
Snowshoe Volunteer (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Volunteers will help facilitate our Snowshoe tour at Summit West for Spreefest attendees. Must be comfortable on-snow and capable of snowshoeing for 1.5 hours. Please plan to bring your own snowshoes, but snowshoes are also available upon request.
Red Robin Lunch Liaison (10:30 AM - 2 PM)
Assist Red Robin and Outdoors for All staff during lunch. This includes answering questions about lunch from Spreefest attendees, handing out food items, group management, and other duties as assigned.
Race Course Timer and Takedown (11:30 PM - 3:00 PM)
Assist with timing participants who go through the race course on-snow. This role will also help take down. Volunteers must be physically capable of loading equipment and an intermediate level skier/rider. You must also bring your own equipment.
Beer Garden Helper, Breakdown, and Clean-up Crew (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Must be 21+. Help in our beer garden to provide beer cans to Spreefest attendees, manage the boundaries, keep the garden clean, and help with event break down and clean up.
Requirements: Volunteer training will take place the day of the event. All volunteer roles are 16+ except for the beer garden, which is 21+.

The Outdoors for All Foundation transforms lives through outdoor recreation. Founded in 1979 in the Pacific Northwest, Outdoors for All is a national leader in delivering adaptive and therapeutic recreation for children and adults with disabilities. Each year more than 2,900 individuals exercise their abilities thanks to the training and support of more than 800 volunteers. Outdoors for All enriches the lives of individuals with disabilities and families and helps them to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Outdoors for All’s programs includes snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country and downhill skiing, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, youth and adult day camps, yoga, military programs, weekend excursions and custom events.
