St. Andrew’s Residential Programs for Youth (S.T.A.R. Programs) was established in 1976 in collaboration of St. Andrew’s Church in Saratoga, CA. S.T.A.R. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides residential care to youth and young adults in foster care, refugee foster care, and juvenile justice system through services in transitional housing. Every year thousands of children are unable to be cared for by their family and are in need of a trauma informed environment. S.T.A.R. Programs serves youth and young adults through surrounding counties through it's residential programs in Santa Clara County.

We are looking for assistance in researching and writing grant proposals to provide additional funding sources to sustain our programs.. We are also expanding our current program to serve young adults who are currently experiencing homelessness and are looking to locate and apply for potential grants and donations to support our clients and the program.

Mission Statement

S.T.A.R. Programs is committed to providing safe and inclusive residential programs with guidance and support for adolescents and young adults to build and practice their independent living skills.
