Seeking energetic and experienced presenters to talk to refugee children about various topics at our after-school program. **Examples of topics include mental health/bullying, martial arts, fitness and nutrition, health and safety and music/dance. If you are experienced in any of these areas or have another area of expertise that you'd be willing to share, please reach out to make a difference in these children's lives! It will truly be a rewarding experience for both you and the children.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:

  • Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
  • Individual, marriage and family counseling
  • Distribution of donated services to the needy
  • Food Pantry
  • Acute emergency services
  • Enrichment services
  • Burial Support

Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
