2023 Senior Food Boxes

ORGANIZATION: Salvation Army Sacramento County



Creating a safe enviroment for our senior citzens to pick up food boxes.

PLEASE NOTE:

Persons needing to do court ordered community service hours will need to complete a volunteer application and be cleared prior to volunteering. Please contact Jennifer Howard at Jennifer.Howard@usw.salvationarmy.org or visit the volunteer site to pick up an application.

MPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:

Volunteers MUST wear closed-toed rubber soled shoes. No sandals or flip flops.

*Adopt a garden for the summer - families, clubs, friends, church, etc.

*Extreme Makeover Team for transitional housing apartments - share a day with us

*Grounds work / Landscaping

*Maintenance work

*Painters - dorms, classrooms, apartments

*Construction work - repair drywall, window, flooring

*Basketball coaches and scorekeepers for youth

*Christmas Kettle Bell Ringers

*Volunteer as dinner servers at our shelter - church groups, service clubs, employee teams, friends

*Volunteer to help with our Angel Tree program
