Path and Green, Inc is looking for a volunteer/unpaid intern to help us run our social media pages for us. The volunteer/unpaid intern would be responsible for researching, creating, editing, and posting social media posts and videos about Path & Green and our missions. Additionally, the volunteer/unpaid intern would work with the founder to plan out content, collaborate and advise on best practices. If you are doing this for an internship, we are happy to complete any paperwork required.

Mission Statement

Bringing hope and a future to Lorain County teen girls in need by ending hygiene insecurity and period poverty.

Description

Path and Green partners with local school districts in Lorain County to provide fourteen personal care items to teen girls in need. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, face wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, chapstick, tampons, sanitary pads, and menstrual cups. We also provide luxury items like makeup, hair accessories, and jewelry when we have them available. Beyond meeting their basic needs, Path & Green desires to positively impact the mental health crisis teen girls face today by encouraging, supporting, and connecting girls with other resources within the community to improve their lives. We want each girl to feel worthy, loved, and valued. In the future, we plan to renovate our truck into a mobile boutique to serve our clients better, provide more options like clothing, and host special events like prom makeovers. Since February 2021, we have already served over 225 girls and given away over 1600 items.
