Sands Montessori is hosting STEM Night on Thursday, January 26th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. We are looking for volunteers to facilitate engaging demonstrations or hands-on learning activities for elementary school students to spark interest and curiosity in science, technology, engineering, and math fields.
Whether you have a career in a STEM field, or just love for the subjects, we would love for community members to share their talents and gifts with our students.
An engaging demonstration involving drones, robots, machines, or science experiments could be great. Or a hands-on activity like building towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows, a bridge out of straws and tape, or making slime would be wonderful too. We are open to ideas, so if you've got something in mind, let us know!
