The National Canal Museum (NCM) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our children's program, Kids on the Canal! Volunteers should enjoy doing crafts and can demonstrate planned activities to kids visiting the museum. Volunteers are needed every 3rd Saturday of the month from 11 am - 4:30 pm from April to December. Tasks include setting up, cleaning up, and interacting with kids and families as they visit. All materials needed will be provided, and the activities will already be planned. Training will be provided to those interested!
Museum volunteers must be willing to undergo Pennsylvania child abuse clearances.

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that preserves historic pathways that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia. Today, the D&L Trail and the National Canal Museum connect people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage.
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L) is working to connect th 165-mile D&L Trail through 5 Pennsylvania counties, (Carbon, Luzerne, Northampton, Lehigh and Bucks) by 2020. The D&L also manages the National Canal Museum in Easton, home of PA's only mule-drawn canal boat ride.
