Do you love animals? Best Friends is in need of social media volunteers to help us with all things social media before and after the opening of our new state-of-the-art Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.

This first-of-its-kind Pet Resource Center represents the future of animal sheltering by encouraging the public to easily engage with dogs and cats, and offering resources, services and events for both ends of the leash. Our social media volunteers will help the Northwest Arkansas Pet Resource Center expand its reach on social media by spreading the word about the programs and services provided as well as allow us to deepen our existing relationship with current social media followers and develop relationships with new followers.

Do you want to be part of this exciting social media project?

Best Friends is seeking a local Northwest Arkansas Social Media Manager volunteer to work closely with our marketing lead to help with day-to-day community management of the Best Friends Northwest Arkansas Facebook groups and Instagram channel.

Duties will include engaging with members and potential supporters in positive, thoughtful online conversations about the organization, our campaigns, web stories, events, and videos. Strong writing and customer service skills are important in this role, as well as the ability to diffuse potential hot button issues and situations.
