Volunteers are the heart and soul of TRCNB. They are folks from all walks of life, ages 1 to 92, who keep our doors open through their generous donation of time, energy, intelligence and most importantly their love for kids and teachers.
What We Do
- Greet teachers on shopping days; check them in and out, answer their questions
- Fill online teacher orders
- Be present for donation drop offs at the storage center
- Organize and maintain storage center
- Drive and deliver teacher orders throughout the North Bay
- Sort, count and update inventory
- If truck available, drive cardboard, plastic, etc. to Napa Recycling in American Canyon
- Retrieve tinfoil from various wineries
- Volunteer for fundraising events and activities
- Behind-the-scenes projects that can be done at home:
- Communications such as emails, donor thank you letters, etc.
- Track and file inventory spreadsheets from shopping days
- Sort tinfoil donated from wineries for our Tinfoil Project
- Separate and make packages of pencils, pens, markers donated

Mission Statement
We are dedicated to helping teachers help kids by providing basic classroom supplies at no cost. We believe every teacher should be able to have the basic core supplies needed by their students without having to pay for them out of pocket.
Description
Teacher Resource Center of the North Bay (TRCNB) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that collects, stores, and distributes free classroom supplies to public school teachers throughout the North Bay counties (Napa, Lake, Sonoma, Solano, Yolo). We are headquartered in the City of Napa.
TRCNB is the first and only FREE classroom supply store in Northern California. Here teachers can shop for basic core supplies needed by their students to succeed in the classroom.
TRCNB, a volunteer community based organization is thriving because of the generosity of individuals, small businesses and large corporations who believe that our children are our future and deserve the best learning environment we can provide them.
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team of dedicated volunteers to help with administrative tasks, tracking of inventory, fundraising, and distribution of supplies.CAUSE AREAS
