Mission Statement

Volunteers Serving America’s Communities, Saving Lives, and Shaping Futures

Description

The Civil Air Patrol, the United States Air Force Auxiliary, is a nonprofit organization made up of senior members (adults) and cadets (youth). CAP has three main missions: Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs.

While we are an auxiliary of the United States Air Force, our members do not have to be military, nor do they have to join the military. Our aim is to support our local communities in their time of need and to develop youth into the leaders of the future.

Our squadron locally meets at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station on Monday nights for roughly 2 hours, with weekend activities generally occurring once per month.
