The Alisal Housing Production VISTA actively tackles poverty factors in the neighborhood, such as unaffordable and overcrowded housing, through policy research, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building to implement the Alisal Vibrancy Plan, Farmworker Housing Study Action Plan, and other equity-based planning documents. This position will build the capacity of the City to update its Housing Element, research and develop strategies to meet Regional Housing Needs Allocations (RHNA) and develop policies to support the City’s Housing and Community Development (HCD) Prohousing Designation Program Application, as well as accelerate Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) production.
