Specific duties include proficient operation of the R1S computer program (training will be provided), making reservations for campers, selling various national park discount passes, accounting for credit card transactions, answering phone calls, recording campground logs and providing visitors with local area information. Camp hosts typically work a four day on-four day off schedule. Must maintain professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to abide by the USACE Volunteer Agreement and submit a standard background check (required by all USACE volunteers). Contracted positions also available.
