Join us at Fresh Eye Arts! Within MSS’ St Paul center, is the Fresh Eye Arts studio- a fine art studio program for artists with disabilities. We are seeking volunteers who are working artists or have a background/experience in visual arts and are available to commit a few hours a week to serve as a studio assistant. This is a great opportunity for a local artist or someone attending school in an art-related field.

Duties may include:

  • working with artists and staff on art facilitation and creation
  • providing encouragement to artists
  • helping gather materials
  • assisting with maintenance/organization of the space
  • assisting with art-related outings into the community
  • leading art demos/workshops
  • assisting with art documentation/archiving (taking photos/scanning)

Bonus points for knowledge of screen printing, ceramics, or weaving.

Opportunities available Mon-Fri in 2-hour increments, anytime between 9-1pm.
