Volunteer will be a part of the Interpretive Team. They will assist with the creation and presentation of curriculum-based education programs. These programs may be formal or informal as well as virtual or in-person. Other duties may include educational trainings, upkeep of education kits, assisting with summer camps, and any other additional educational task.
The volunteer will be encouraged to research, design and develop unique curriculum on topics approved by the Interpretive team. While the park is most well-known for its civil-rights history there are many other possibilities for educational opportunities.
Hours will be determined and agreed on by both the volunteer and their supervisor.
