Environmentalists Needed!

We are seeking an Event Team Lead to work with our volunteers to help us out at our many events/public activities! The majority of our events help to educate our community and fund our Tracy Earth Project organization and services to the community. Event volunteers will be added to our list to contact for future events, but the Team Leader will help plan the event and reach out to volunteers and schedule them at the events. The volunteer can simply accept or pass on the request. The two annual events we have are Tracy Earth Day and California Clean Air Day each on a Saturday where we plant trees and host an information fair in downtown Tracy, we also have a booth at the Tracy Connects at Lincoln Park as well as be part of the Tracy Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting in December. This position is open to anyone local, within 25 miles of Tracy, CA.

Tasks may include:

• Assist with check-in, raffles, entries
• Event set-up/breakdown
• Distributing Goods, tickets, prizes
• Providing Directions/Information
• Answering Questions
• Assisting/overseeing other volunteers
• Supporting Staff Members
• Provide skills if (any) music/singing
