POSITION TITLE: Volunteer Student Researcher
DEPARTMENT: DiverseMinds.co Lab
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary Part Time
HOURS OF WORK: 5 hours per week
Job Summary
Research Student to assist with research project work in DiverseMinds Magazine lab. Research focused on neurodiversity and neurodivergent women.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain study documents and other research files including study-related logs
Research on project 3
Research on projects related with neurodivergent women
Assist with preparing reports of study progress
- Other tasks as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
Degree: Currently enrolled in a life science major
Required Skills
- High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed time management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete the collective goals of the team

DiverseMinds is a platform for every talented individual in this world. We believe that there is no single person who are the same. Everyone is unique and talented in their way. Neurodiversity is the concept that there are many different variations in human function, each of which needs to be better understood and respected. Society needs to realize how intelligent and talented our peers are. DiverseMinds research field is mainly focused on female neurodiversity. There is no single research about women in neurodiversity. DiverseMinds wanted to create this platform for women in neurodiversity to use their words to influence others, and this is what brings everyone joy-to connect people and connect with people. We believe that women in neurodiversity deserve the opportunity to express themselves. We believe that through conversation, we inspire each other, learn from each other, and create opportunities for each other. Most importantly, we believe that it is through conversation that we can share our thoughts and emotion to support each other in a patriarchal society.
