DiverseMinds is a non-profit organization launched in May 2022 by youth leaders and neurodiversity specialists. We are dedicated to serving more than 3k neurodivergent women and readers. With our resource integration platform, DiverseMinds empower audiences with tips, insights and challenging common misconceptions from the latest health, wellness and beauty research and spark discussion about neurodivergence in women - presented in a fun, engaging way that helps audiences lead confident, healthy lives. We envision a world where awareness of gender justice has transformed power and privilege into equity and acceptance for all.

Job Summary

As a Podcast Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage all aspects of podcast production related to the designated topic. Your role involves creating and maintaining a podcast that provides valuable and engaging contents. We are currently recruiting for January to April term. Application deadline is January 18th, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET.

Job Responsibilities

  • Content Development:

    • Stay updated on the latest information, studies, and social media trends
    • Work with hosts to choose relevant and engaging topics that resonate with the target audience
    • Arrange interviews with experts, therapists, coaches, advocates, and others
  • Scripting and Planning:

    • Develop outlines or scripts for each episode, ensuring a balance of informative and entertaining content
  • Host Support:

    • Provide hosts with information on effective communication and engagement strategies
    • Offer constructive feedback to hosts to continually improve the quality and impact of the podcast
  • Editing and Production:

    • Oversee the editing process to ensure the final product is polished and professional
    • Pay attention to audio quality, making adjustments to enhance the listening experience

Neurodiversity is the concept that there are many different variations in human function, each of which needs to be better understood and respected. Society needs to realize how intelligent and talented our peers are. DiverseMinds research field is mainly focused on female neurodiversity. There is no single research about women in neurodiversity. DiverseMinds wanted to create this platform for women in neurodiversity to use their words to influence others, and this is what brings everyone joy-to connect people and connect with people. We believe that women in neurodiversity deserve the opportunity to express themselves. We believe that through conversation, we inspire each other, learn from each other, and create opportunities for each other. Most importantly, we believe that it is through conversation that we can share our thoughts and emotion to support each other in a patriarchal society.
