JA Finance Park is a program for students in grades 7-12 that challenges students to apply the financial literacy concepts they learned in the classroom in a relevant and engaging simulation. Students adopt an adult persona (occupation, income, credit score, savings account, etc.) and create and manage a monthly budget that fits the wants and needs of that persona. Volunteers will guide small groups of students through the simulation and offer support, insight, and advice throughout the experience. Your guidance will make a lasting positive impact! A 1-hour volunteer training takes place the morning of each scheduled simulation.
JA of Southern California is committed to providing inclusive, equitable programs and experiences to help students navigate through the business of life.
