Host an Exchange Student in 2025!

CETUSA (Council of Educational Travel-USA) has been a leader in cultural exchange for nearly 30 years! We are currently seeking host families in Carollton, Texas and other states to host high school exchange students arriving in August 2025! When you volunteer as a host family for an exchange student, you choose the program duration that works for you. Host for 6 to 8 weeks as a Welcome Family, 5 months, or the full school year. Host families select a student from 20+ countries.

As a Host Family, you provide a student with:

• A room to study and separate bed.
• A place at your table for family meals.
• Basic transportation.
• A warm, supportive home environment.

Students arrive with their own insurance and spending money to pay for their own, activities, clothing, dining out, medical expenses, school personal expenses, etc.

Host parents can be single-parent households, adults with or without children, LGBTQ+ households, and empty-nesters. Host parents do not need to be "wealthy." (In fact - most aren't.) Your exchange student is excited by the prospect of daily life in the U.S., attending an American high school, and immersion American culture, as well as your family's culture and traditions.
