ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Agate Fossil Beds National Monument has 2 beautiful, cement RV pads with full hook-ups within the ranger housing neighborhood of 4 houses. A short trail connects the neighborhood to the visitor center for volunteers working with the library, curation, or administration. The maintenance barn is within the neighborhood.


We need volunteers who are passionate about helping the park look amazing for our visitors and keeping it organized and well-run for our staff. When interviewing, please pick the position you feel is the best fit for you.


Maintenance: Mow, Weed-Whack, Paint, and other general maintenance of 3,000-acre property.

Administration: Digitize park files.

Library: Organize resources in the park library, including articles; magazines; journals; and books.

Museum Curation: Re-catalog historical photos.
