Mission Statement

Double Rainbow Project Co is a Nonprofit organization formed in May 2022 by two former teachers. The objective of the Double Rainbow Project Co is to bring people happiness and encourage hope through donations of rainbow window art, the Double Rainbow Project Co is able to spread hope forward, one rainbow at a time. There is significant data available which shows that positive thinking can have a beneficial impact on both physical and mental well-being. People who maintain a more positive outlook on life cope better with stress, have better immunity, and have a lower risk of premature death. The goal of the organization will be to spread hope in the form of rainbow window art, which will encourage and foster positive thinking. We hope to bring more happiness into the world, spreading that happiness, one rainbow at a time.

Description

The Double Rainbow Project Co was created from a desire to spread happiness during a time when people were in desperate need of cheer. The concept of sending rainbows began when two friends who were once neighbors, now living in separate states, started sending each other happy mail. One sent the other some prisms and they were a hit! Rainbows all over the house not only brighten their day, but also their family’s day. Seeing how happy the rainbows made everyone, we wanted to send the crystals to family and friends everywhere, but quickly realized the shipping was more expensive than the crystals themselves. We brainstormed on ways to easily send rainbows in greeting cards and came up with our rainbow window clings. The Double Rainbow Project Co was then born. We wanted as many people as possible to be able to experience our rainbows, so we decided to reach out and see if any children’s charities would be interested in receiving donations of our rainbow window clings. We received an overwhelming response from various charities, and even from parents of chronically ill children. As former teachers, supporting children is a passion for us, and this nonprofit is the most effective way for us to be able to provide window art to as many children as possible. This idea has been welcomed by a number of various children’s organizations, parents, and others who also support our mission.
