The Village Project, Inc, is the leading mental health advocate for vulnerable adults, children, and families from historically underserved communities in Monterey County. We have many wonderful volunteer positions that are excellent opportunities for individuals to network, build their resume, learn job-related skills and improve their community among other benefits.

We are currently recruiting a volunteer to assist us in updating our website. As our web designer, you will help us create the look, layout, feel, functionality, and features for an appealing, user-friendly website with Afrocentric accents.

This opportunity includes:

  • Give guidance on layout, colors, and styles
  • Periodically update website as needed
  • Gain experience with creating websites that focus on target audience and accessibility
  • Flexible volunteer hours remotely or hybrid

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in website design,
  • Knowledge and familiarity with HTML/XHTML and CSS
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills.
  • IT Experience
