ORWDAP SKILLS LIBRARY PROGRAM

Most Community Schools across our region focus much on training children to write and pass exams, Most Children come out of schools without acquiring life skills. In other to create easy access to quality skills development books for Children / Youths living in remote communities , We came up with ORWDAP SKILLS LIBRARY PROGRAM which is divided by the following :

1. Primary Schools Mini Skills Library : We move in to remote communities to identify community schools and setup mini library and load them with children skills development books, At the end - We carry out a workshop to train teachers within the school on how to use the books with children. This program has made several children to be responsible at their various homes - Some are able to cook and produce other things at homes. We believe the best way of solving unemployment is by us addressing the roots and start building the next generation of youths who can create jobs for themselves using skills acquired.
2. Youth Mini Home Libraries : We move in to remote communities to identify youths, Carry out workshop programs to teach and empower youths with professional skills- At the end, We donate skills development books for youths to create mini Library at homes. Every month - we send volunteers to follow up and teach them.

How can i volunteer for this program ?

1. You can help in resource Mobilization: You can help in carrying out research to source for used items which would enable us expand and reach more communities
2. Volunteers can share ideas, Come up with solutions of their choice which would help the program go ahead, We always welcome new solutions
