Do you love supporting older adults in our community? Do you love shopping at thrift stores? What about antiques and rare items? Is one persons trash another's treasure?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then we have the opportunity for you! We are in need of several volunteers to assist with sorting and pricing of items at our Hendersonville and Etowah thrift store locations! Proceeds from the thrift stores directly benefit our Meals on Wheels program, Community Dining, and Caregiver Support programs at the Council on Aging for Henderson County. For every hour of volunteerism, you feed two more homebound older adults!

If you're interested, please contact Robyn Wells, our volunteer coordinator at (828) 233-1561. You can learn more on our website at coahc.org/volunteer/.

*As an added bonus, any volunteers who spend more than 3 hours a week at the store receive a discount on store items!*
